Is it a real person?
No. Silvia is an AI assistant, and she always says so.
Does my parent need a smartphone or an app?
No. Any phone works. Texts go to mobile phones; a landline gets the calls only.
What if they don't answer?
Silvia leaves a short message, texts the plan, tries again 20 minutes later, and lets you know.
What if they say they feel unwell?
Silvia tells them to call 911 or their doctor and alerts you right away. Silver Sidekick is not an emergency or medical service.
Will my parent feel watched?
They're in charge. They agree on the first call, can skip any question, can say "no stories," and can stop anytime by saying or texting STOP. Notes you mark private are never spoken.
Is it medical advice?
No. Silvia reminds and asks; she never explains, changes or recommends medicine.
Spanish?
Yes, at no extra cost. Your parent can get calls in Spanish while you read updates in English.
Privacy?
We store the minimum, never sell your data, never share health details with advertisers, and delete call audio after 30 days (except stories your parent keeps).
